Twelve NAIFA-Florida members graduated from the Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) in 2017 and were recognized at ceremonies as part of the annual Awards Luncheon at the association’s Annual Conference in June.
LILI was developed by NAIFA and is presented at the state level to benefit individual members in terms of personal growth. It was designed specifically to develop high-caliber leaders. The Institute is built upon the conviction that leadership of others begins with leadership of oneself. LILI creates a culture – a unique learning environment – that encourages participants to bring out the best in themselves, and then apply what is learned across every aspect of their lives. The coursework is presented in six one-day sessions over a six-month period. It is available only to NAIFA members by application only.
In 2017, LILI featured two classes in Florida – one in Clearwater, and one in Tallahassee. Both were moderated by NAIFA-Florida Past President and LILI graduate Tim Holladay, CLU, CASL, LUTCF, JD.
