Citizens is offering more classroom recertification training opportunities for our appointed agents. By attending one of these classes, Citizens-appointed agents will satisfy their biennial agent recertification requirement. Agents, agency principals, customer representatives and all other support staff also are encouraged to attend.
Each class provides information that will assist you in writing policies and providing quality customer service to Citizens’ policyholders. Topics include:
- Assignment of Benefits/Call Citizens First
- Depopulation Choices program
- New-business submission tips and tricks
- Compliance with Citizens’ agreements and underwriting rules
Each class will include updates on what’s new or upcoming at Citizens and will provide a question and answer segment.
Notes:
- If your recertification is not due at this time and you attend one of these classes, your next recertification date will be reset for 2019.
- These training classes do not satisfy the certification required for an appointment with Citizens. Certification must be completed online via the Agent Certification Program.
- These training classes do not provide continuing education credits for maintaining a Florida insurance license.
