The NAIFA Florida Education Foundation, (NFEF) provided fifteen (15) $100 scholarships to NAIFA Florida members, who attended the NAIFA Florida Day On The Hill, (DOH) for the first time. The event was held in Tallahassee, Florida on March 21, 2017.
The NFEF leadership team approved the initiative to provide incentive for NAIFA Florida members to participate in DOH because it highlights the importance of engagement in the political process.
Scholarship recipients were amazed that many legislators were not aware of trending issues impacting the financial services profession. Many agreed that their participation was important and made a difference. The experience was very educational and fun.
NFEF announced they are offering twenty (20) $100 scholarships to the NAIFA-Florida Financial Advisors Sales & Symposium & Annual Conference on June 16-17, in Orlando.
