GARY HAFT – began his career in the Insurance Business in Florida in 1980 and specializes in working with Retirees. He specializes in Long Term Care Planning, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plan and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and is an expert with Individual and Short Term medical insurance solutions.
Gary is a member of the National Assn of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA) along with the Florida Assn of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA-Florida), and has been on the Board of Directors of the local, NAIFA-Sawgrass / NAIFA-Broward Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 1990. He was recently elected President of NAIFA-Broward Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors for the fiscal year 2017-2018.
In early 2003, Gary joined Howard and Ira Materetsky to offer his clients more financial solutions. Gary holds life and health insurance licenses as well as his Series 6 and 63. His designations include Certified Estate Planner (CEP) and he is a member of the American Academy of Certified Estate Planners (AACEP).
Gary has been a South Florida resident since 1973 and currently lives in Coral Springs with his wife Mindy. Their son Jason graduated New York University and resides in Astoria NY and works in the Theatre District in NYC. He is currently the Associate Company Manager for a New Broadway Show that opened on April 23, 2017 titled “Charlie & The Chocolate Factory” – You all remember Willy Wonka?
